First Congregational United Church of Christ – Elgin, 256 E. Chicago Street, Elgin, IL, 60120

Rev. Dr. Nathaniel L. Edmond, Second Baptist Church of Elgin
America has made great progress over the years with civil rights. Rev. Edmonds is a product of the civil rights movement of the 60’s in Birmingham and has witnessed many changes. He believes we must not allow that progress to be stifled, reversed or hindered, nor can we allow personal insecurities to divide and separate our great nation. Rev. Edmonds believes we must move forward with an understanding that “God is still on the throne,” and loves all people unconditionally.
