East Dundee Visitor’s Center (The Depot) a stop on the Stick and Stay Trail

East Dundee Visitor’s Center (The Depot) a stop on the Stick and Stay Trail
August 16, 2024 Elgin Area CVB

A visit to East Dundee won’t be complete without a stop at the Dundee Township Visitor’s Center (a.k.a. The Depot). Situated right next to the Fox River Bike Trail, the Depot is a popular rest stop for bike trail users in need of maps, snacks, beverages or a water bottle fill up. Every Saturday, from mid-May to October, The Depot comes alive with the outdoor Depot Market, brimming with local vendors. And for a fun photo op, don’t forget to snap a pic in the giant Adirondack chair out front – it’s the perfect way to commemorate your East Dundee adventure.

The East Dundee Visitor Center is participating in Explore Elgin Area’s Stick and Stay Trail to celebrate serving the Elgin area for 40 years.  This program allows you to win prizes when you collect 12 stickers from one of the 24 destinations participating in the program. Collect these stickers in person or digitally when you visit the attractions and submit them to the Explore Elgin Area Visitors Center to redeem your prize (as long as supplies last).
