Ceremonies
Dundee Township Park District’s Veterans Day Celebration (Note: it’s the day before Veterans Day)
- 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at Rakow Center.
- 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the Heritage Ballroom at the Edward Schock Centre of Elgin.
Carpentersville’s Veterans Day Ceremony
- 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Carpenter Park.
Village of South Elgin’s Veterans Day Ceremony
- 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in the Public Safety Center Board Room, 50 N. Water St.
Events
- 12 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Hanover Township Senior Center in Bartlett.
Salute to Service Letter Writing Campaign at Gail Borden Public Library
- 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Gail Borden Public Library
- 2 to 4 p.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church. (Reservations required.)
