Start the weekend off right by ordering from Al’s Café!

Al’s Café can be described as a casual and contemporary dining experience. You would not expect your soup choice to be Brazil de Cacao or Vegetable Creole at the local malt shop, but then again Al’s isn’t your run-of-the-mill eatery.  Al’s Café provides its customers with comfort food alongside more innovative dishes that are sure to delight your palate.  Thanks to the creative touch of Chef Tony Jamin, each dish is made from scratch, and tastes better than even Mom’s homemade dinners.

Having been around since 1982, this adorable eatery has been a staple in the downtown Elgin community ever since. Undergoing multiple owner changes, nowadays you can find  Chef Tony Jamin and Patricia Jamin mulling about after having taken ownership in 2005.

At Al’s you know you’re going to have a good experience. Chef Tony has quite the impressive resume.

“Trained in Holland, Germany, and France, Chef Tony Jamin uses his wide range of experiences to create a menu that plays with the flavors of traditional American dishes. Implementing both European and American fusions, Chef Jamin’s authentic entrees are unlike any others you will find.”
