Sleepy Hollow blends its small-town charm with just a slight touch of spooky fun, especially in the fall.

The village’s annual “Halloween in the Hollow” celebration features a chili cookoff competition, costume contests for all ages, hayrides, pumpkin decorating, food and drinks, and a community bonfire. The highlight? A special appearance by the legendary Headless Horseman himself.

This year’s event is set for 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in Sabatino Park. Come visit the village of Sleepy Hollow and travel down Sleepy Hollow Road – all of that will count toward a stamp from July 15 to December 31 as our Stick & Stay Trail is live.
