Easter Eggs and Bunnies 2023

Easter is a great time to go to some community events and see the Easter bunny. Or perhaps find some candy-filled eggs? See our list of egg hunts, bunny meet-and-greets, and more below!

Meet the Bunny

• Bunny Train at the Fox River Trolley Museum – March 25th, April 1st, and April 8th 2023.
  • The young and young at heart will partake in a wonderful ride to the Easter Bunny’s “secret burrow” in vintage antique real trolley cars, where there will be plenty of hidden eggs to find. All the little ones will receive a basket of their own to collect any magical eggs that are found.
• Easter Bunny Meet + Greet at Prestige Creative Markets – April 8th, 2023.
  • Join our very special Easter Bunny friend for a semi-private meet and greet session at Prestige Creative Markets this Spring! Each time slot is 45 minutes, allowing your family time to meet the Easter Bunny, take pictures, have a dance party, complete a coloring sheet, and take home your Bunny craft! Our Bunny can’t wait to meet everyone!
• Village of South Elgin Breakfast with the Bunny – April 8th, 2023.
  • Hop on over and join us! Breakfast with all the fixins will be at Village Squire on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 9-10:30am. The bunny will join us after eating for pictures and goodies. We will also have crafts and coloring.
• Easter Eggstravaganza – April 8th, 2023.
  • The Easter Eggstravaganza is back and we want you to join in on the fun! In an effort to bless the community of Bartlett, we will be hosting multiple egg hunts throughout the morning at Bartlett Gazebo Park and Bartlett Elementary School.

Egg Hunts

• Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny Visit – April 1st, 2023.
  • Join the Ella Johnson Memorial Public Library District and the Hampshire Township Park District for an Easter Egg Hunt at Seyller Park. Following the Egg Hunt, the Easter Bunny will arrive via a Hampshire Fire Protection District Fire Truck at 10:15 a.m.
• Village of South Elgin “Pooched” Egg Hunt – April 1st, 2023.
  • Sit. Stay. Fetch! Bring your pup to the “Pooched” egg hunt. A special egg hunt with treats for our four-legged friends takes place at the Village’s dog park, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 10am.
• Village of South Elgin Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt – April 6th, 2023
  • Did you know certain bunnies’ eggs glow in the dark? Come find them in Jim Hansen’s baseball fields, Thursday, April 6. Enjoy an eggciting night-time egg hunt.
• Easter Egg Hunt 2023 in Sleepy Hollow – April 8th, 2023
  • Children scramble to gather eggs left by the Easter Bunny in the fields of Sabatino Park. The hunt is divided into several age categories including one for those with special needs.
• Adult Flashlight Egg Hunt – April 1st, 2023.
  • Flashlight your way through Camp Big Timber. Hunts are available at 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Open to adults 21+
• Family Egg Hunt – April 1st, 2023.
  • Come rain or shine there will be thousands of eggs to find…
• Egg Packing Party – March 18th, 2023.
  • For this year’s Eggstravaganza, we need your help to pack 75,000 eggs! Spend a Saturday morning with Village Church attendees of all ages to prepare for this spring outreach event.
