As the Elgin area seeks to prioritize the health and safety of our community, we are monitoring event cancellations, postponements and modifications.

We encourage the public to take precautions recommended by the City of Elgin and the CDC:

• Cover your coughs and sneezes
• Wash your hands often
• Avoid touching your face

SPECIAL STATEMENT ON SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES

As events are canceled in our community and we see a reduction in business to our area, we continue to encourage support of our local businesses and hospitality industry. Those that are healthy and able to patron area businesses are encouraged to do so. However, please continue to use caution and follow guidelines from the Illinois Department of Public Health and the CDC before leaving home.
