2024 Illinois FTC Championship Tournament at Elgin Community College

The FIRST Tech Challenge Illinois Championship Tournament is an intense two-day event showcasing robots developed and operated by teams of high school students. Open to spectators.
The event will be held in the Elgin Community College Building J Events Center, at 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

The competing robots are the best robots from the FTC Qualifying Events held all around Illinois. The robots represent the product of focused brainstorming, real-world teamwork, dedicated mentoring, and managing project deadlines.
Parking
Parking will be available in the Red Lot (Lots J, & H). This parking lot is open parking spaces to students, visitors, and staff. Specific parking areas are reserved for staff parking, accessible parking, motorcycles, or other uses. Please read the posted signs carefully. Parking overnight is prohibited.
The 2024 Illinois State Championship is a 44 team, 2 division event.
Teams will be divided into two divisions of 22 teams. Teams will play in 5 qualifying matches in alliances of randomly generated teams within their division. On Saturday afternoon, the top-seeded teams in each division will form four alliances of 3 teams to compete in the divisional elimination rounds. These elimination round matches will be played to determine divisional winners. On Saturday evening, the divisional winners will face off in an overall event final to determine the winning alliance.
