And while you’re at the park, don’t miss the 4th of July floats/displays from local community organizations and complimentary refreshments. Also, South Elgin’s Dairy Queen will be available too.
Parking options: Water Street (in front of Village Hall and south to SEBA Park), the new municipal lot at State and LaFox, municipal annex lots plus local side streets.
For those who might’ve missed last week’s news, the traditional South Elgin 4th of July Parade was cancelled due to lack of participants. As an alternative, the Village Board approve a plan to host this year’s new approach. Please come down to Panton Mill Park to cheer the SEHS marching band, engage with the organizations and their decorated floats/vehicles, and use it as a launch pad for your enjoyable Independence Day ahead!
