7th Annual Bike for the Kids

Hop on your bike to support Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley!
Cyclists of all ages and abilities are welcome to ride distances ranging from 12 miles – 50 miles or joining us in reaching a 100-mile goal throughout the summer on the Strava app. The event will take at a NEW location. Adapted bikes and trailers welcome. All ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. Wheels of all kinds are welcome!
We are excited to take this ride to the Fox River Trail and celebrate together at Festival Park in Elgin with food, refreshments, a splash pad, entertainment and more!

Your 100-mile challenge registration includes participation in the 8/28 trail ride and all event-day benefits (t-shirt, food, activities).
Set your own day/time/location for our 100-mile cycling challenge. After registering, you can log and track miles any time in August with the Strava App (coming soon). You may choose to ride 100 miles on one day, break up the miles over days and weekends during the month, or log the final leg of your goal with us on August 28. We will recognize your accomplishment during our program at the event.
Your distance selection is used for planning purposes. You are welcome to switch to a different distance on ride day.
This is a supported TRAIL ride. SAG wagon and rest stops provided on all routes.
KIDS’ RIDE: $15 per person
Riders will earn a token for each loop they complete that can be redeemed for kid-friendly prizes.
No charge for Easterseals clients and children 12 and under.

The day includes refreshments and fun for the whole family.
The ride will follow all local and CDC mandated health and safety guidelines in effect by August 28, 2022. Post-party activities are subject to change accordingly.
