Butterfly Pinning Workshop with RIP Repurposed at Morbid Mementos

What You’ll Do:
Pin up a stunning, flat, museum-quality butterfly specimen perfect for display.
Using a sustainably sourced butterfly, you’ll learn the art of professional pinning in this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop.
All materials are provided, and you’ll take home your finished butterfly at the end of class.
-Skill Level: Beginner – No experience needed

About the Instructor:
Domingo (RIP Repurposed) is a Chicanx artist and educator from Elgin, now based in Chicago.
Their work explores sustainability, preservation, and identity, especially through the lens of BIPOC and queer experience. They create ethically sourced taxidermy “queer-acions” that honor life, death, and transformation one delicate trinket at a time.
