Gail Borden Public Library will have a space in its Grove Room of the Main Library for the Day of the Dead Community Ofrenda. This is a space for reflection, healing and cultural connection where we honor loved ones who are no longer with us. If you would like to honor a loved one in the Community Ofrenda, send a digital photo by 10/1. Email it to [email protected] or text it to 847-857-7740. Please include your name, phone number and the name of the person in the picture.

The Grand Opening will take place on 10/10 at 10:30 am to noon in the Main Library Meadows Community Rooms.
