The Elgin Master Chorale (EMC) is thrilled to announce its 2024-2025 season, From the Heavens, a transcendent journey through some of the greatest choral masterworks. This season, we invite audiences to experience the divine power of choral music, featuring works by Robert Hanson, Johannes Brahms, Johann Sebastian Bach, and more.

Kicking off the season on October 27, 2024, the Elgin Master Chorale will perform Robert Hanson’s Psalms of David alongside Brahms’ Gesang der Parzen and Tragic Overture, under the direction of Andrew Lewis and featuring the Elgin Symphony Orchestra.

This performance celebrates Hanson’s enduring legacy in the Fox Valley and Brahms’ timeless exploration of fate and human emotion.
