Forest Bathing at Hawthorne Hill Nature Center

June 29, 2024 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Forest bathing is a practice that supports health and wellness through guided immersion in forests and other natural environments.

During a forest bathing walk, certified Forest Therapy Guide Jennifer Boudart offers participants a sequence of invitations that encourage them to slow down, to be present, and to engage with nature through all their senses, in any way that feels right for them. There is no prescribed outcome; each person’s experience is shaped by their unique response to encounters with the natural world.

Forest bathing walks are not strenuous. Participants rarely travel more than half a mile, so people of all ages and physical conditions can enjoy them. Jennifer provides everything you need for this experience, so just come dressed for the weather.

Registration is encouraged: Centre of Elgin – WebTrac Activity Search (myvscloud.com)
