Join KCT Credit Union, Illinois State Senator Cristina Castro, and the Village of Carpentersville for this free Community Shred Event held at Carpenter Park.

Fight the risk of identity theft and paper clutter by bringing your old receipts and sensitive documents to be safely and securely shredded. Only paper material will be accepted, but small paper clips and staples do not need to be removed. No plastic bags, please.

Shred material will be accepted until 11am, or until the shred trucks are full – whichever comes first.

There will also be a donation drive for District 300 Food Pantry. Please consider bringing a cash donation, or one of the following most needed items: rice, beans, pasta & pasta sauce, baby food, boxed foods, canned meats, soup, sugar, coffee, tea or flour. Personal care & feminine hygiene items will be collected as well. Please, no glass containers.
