Elgin Parks and Recreation and Hawthorne Hill Nature Center are hosting free, parent-led activities where participants are encouraged to “unplug” from their cellphones and enjoy the moment. Explore hands-on crafts, engage in interactive activities, and embark on “no phone” scavenger hikes.
