Gilberts’ annual Fishing Derby will take place 8 am Saturday, Aug. 3, at Memorial Park. Rain or shine.

There are groups for all ages. So, you can join the fun whether you’re a seasoned fisher or just starting out/

It’s $5/person to join the derby, but you’ll be provided worms and a snack pack. There are also some prizes for the biggest fish in each age category.
