Halloween in the Hollow

Children have an opportunity to show off their costumes, parading by age group to receive candy with prizes awarded for the best costumes. Other activities include pumpkin decorating, hay rides, a chili contest and of course, the bonfire. The Service Club offers refreshments while we wait for the appearance of the Headless Horseman, which includes hot dogs, brats, hot cocoa & cider, water, apple & pumpkin pie and all the chili from the contest.
All are welcome to enter the chili contest, please see the Chili Cook Off Contest entry form for more information. All entries must be received at the food tents by 3 PM on the day of the contest.
The chili contests starts promptly at 3 PM, costume parade starts at 4:15 PM, and food sales and pumpkin decorating begin at 3:30 PM. At twilight, the immense bonfire is set ablaze, followed by the ride of the Headless Horseman.
