National Night Out in South Elgin

The Village of South Elgin will be participating in the 41st anniversary of National Night Out by hosting a community-wide event on Tuesday, Aug. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m., at Panton Mill Park, located next to Village Hall and the South Elgin Polic Department (10 N. Water St. South Elgin, IL 60177).
The evening will include family-friendly activities, food trucks, entertainment, and free shuttle service every 20 minutes from South Elgin High School.
Schedule of events:
6pm – Opening remarks by Chief Krawczyk
6:05 – 7:15pm – Smokin’ Gunz to play “National Anthem” and musical performance
7:15 – 7:45pm – Band breaks but will play music via DJ
7:45 – 9:00pm – Smokin’ Gunz to play second set of music to close
Entertainment
Several activities for family and kids including police themed bounce house. tattoo and face painting stations, touch-a-truck with several emergency vehicles, and more!
Food
We have three food truck options: Cesaroni BBQ, Inches Tacos, and Waffadilla, and we will also have Mama Lee’s Popcorn and Dairy Queen.
