colElgin Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society’s 2025 College Project is Unity in Community! This year they are hosting a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot on November 22 at 10 a.m. This initiative will create opportunities for ECC staff, students, and community members to come together, build relationships and strengthen the ECC community as a whole.

The first Unity in Community event will be held on Saturday, November 22, here at ECC for a 5K Run/Walk open to all.

$10/staff and community and $5/student. All participants will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt.

There will be food trucks, games, activities and more!
