This is an overview of coffee and addresses some common misconceptions.  The aim of the presentation is to provide the audience with information that is backed by data and research.  It also provides some views about the origins and history of coffee, health, brewing methods and extraction theory, roasting and tasting methods.    Coffee growing regions and ecology will also be touched upon.  Brewing methods and basic extraction methods may be demonstrated with opportunities to sample coffees and discuss flavor profiles and methods to develop your palate.
