Art Exhibit: The Long Red Line: Rise Empower Unite

The Long Red Line is Elgin’s support of One Billion Rising, a global movement of women and their allies rising
to end rape, violence, interpersonal domination and oppression against women. The theme for this year’s
event is Rise. Empower. Unite.

Our 7th annual event will be held on February 14, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Elgin Community
College, Building B Jobe Lounge, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin, IL 60123.

To further raise awareness and honor survivors and community support, The Long Red Line is offering an art
exhibit from January 14 through February 28, 2019 in the Library Hallway Gallery, Building C at Elgin
Community College. Please join us for The Long Red Line’s Art Exhibit Opening and Reception to be held on
January 29, 2019 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Elgin Community College, Spartan Auditorium (G100).
