The Forgotten Kingdom: Sand Stories Live Featuring Kseniya Simonova and the Guy Mendilow Ensemble

This breathtaking collaboration features sand art superstar Kseniya Simonova (America’s Got Talent: Champions) and the “international tour-de-force” Guy Mendilow Ensemble. Against the ensemble’s sweeping cinematic score and radio-drama-style narration, Simonova uses sand—in real-time—to create, animate, and morph a flowing illustrated narrative that recreates the experiences of ordinary people caught in extraordinary upheaval. The resulting performance brings stories of the “forgotten” voices of early 20th century Sephardi women to life.

DATE AND TIME: Saturday, November 9 at 7 p.m.
