Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates For The Elgin Area
EACVB partners and friends,
At least for a while, the novel coronavirus will continue to disrupt our work, leisure activities and local businesses that we value and love. But, unwavering in the face of our current crisis, Elgin area residents and business owners are welcoming, hospitable and resilient. Please be vigilant about doing what you can to help your neighbors, family and friends while living a healthy lifestyle—washing your hands and sanitizing surfaces along the way. If you go outdoors for a neighborhood walk, a run, a hike, or a bike ride—please do so with social distancing at top of mind.
In the midst of today’s unprecedented challenges, our community’s top priority remains the safety, health and well-being of our residents and visitors. By leveraging its many communications platforms, the Elgin Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (EACVB) is here to help keep all of our local partners and residents informed amidst the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. EACVB will continue to monitor updates related to COVID-19, sending out pertinent information via subsequent e-blasts, across all ExploreElgin social channels and via www.exploreelginarea.com/resource-center.
Some recent community updates and reminders include:
