St. Patrick’s Day in Dundee

St. Patrick’s Day in Dundee
March 8, 2022 Elgin Area CVB

The Dundee community is known for their annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations! After a reprieve, this year it’s back and better than ever. Start the day at 8am by participating or watching the kilted 5K. Where runners dress in their Irish and take to the streets, kilts are provided to participants. Then stick around because shortly after the parade will commence. Plus there’s a pet parade included, and who doesn’t love to see our four-legged friends strutting their stuff?

Other must-see events include Emmet’s Brewing Company’s annual Big Wheel’s race! The Kegs and Eggs buffet begins at 9am and the Big Wheels Race will begin at 1pm. Also if you stick around until the evening, Brother’s Quinn will be set up on the second floor playing live starting at 7pm. Relax while enjoying a great mix of Irish, Bluegrass, Old Country and even Rock music! Emmet’s will be offering their full menu along with other Irish specials for the day.

Lastly, a fan favorite event taking place later on March 19th: the fireworks! Sponsored and hosted by Bandito Barney’s Beach Club, come hang out and see the fireworks which will start at dusk.
