Juneteenth Cultural Festival in downtown Elgin

June 15 @ 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The African American Coalition of Kane County presents the Juneteenth Cultural Festival in Festival Park.
Get ready to immerse yourself in a celebration like no other.
This year’s theme, “What About the Children?” invites us to honor the diverse cultures of the African diaspora and inspire our youth to embrace their heritage with pride.

Kid Zone EXPANSION – This year, we’re expanding our activities for our children!
Our expanded Kids Zone promises endless fun for children of all ages, from interactive games to reading corner to creative activities.

Entertainment – As Mase likes to say, make sure you “Breathe, Stretch, Shake, and Let it go” this year as entertainers like DJ Dre, We In The Basement and so many more performers bring the energy to bring a head bop, hand clap or full out dance to our festival. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket and find your space to enjoy the music and more.

The event will include music, performances, art exhibitions, storytelling, vendors, food, history, and entertainment for the whole family.
